When you’ve got a dream, and you’re motivated to turn it into reality, a pandemic and a personal tragedy aren’t going to stop you. Rebekah had been following the tiny home revolution closely.
Wanted a Low-Cost Home

She had watched TV shows and videos and loved the freedom and cost-effectiveness it offered. So, in April 2020, she decided she needed something to look forward to, and put the tiny home wheels in motion. Enlisting the services of Mini Mansions Tiny Homes in Missouri, Rebekah worked with them to create a custom 30-foot-long house on wheels that she could transport on the road legally.
Located in a RV Park

The build officially started in June, and Rebekah was officially living in her dream tiny home by October 2020. Since then, she hasn’t looked back. Rebekah loves living a minimalist lifestyle and being able to live in whichever environment suits her needs. She also only works part-time as a nanny currently but is still able to pay all her bills.
While Rebekah has dreams of purchasing land to put her 30-foot long, 8.5-foot-wide tiny home on, it’s currently located in a RV park. To the left of the tiny home, you will also spot a shed attached to the home. This houses her propane tankless water heater and 40-gallon propane tank.
Designed Her Own Staircase

Rebekah was able to design many parts of her tiny home herself, including the stairs. She loves being able to walk safely up and down the stairs with a railing on top and with plenty of space for her plants to sit on the steps and get natural sunshine. There is a definite natural theme that’s immediately evident in this space.
White Interior

To make the tiny home seem more prominent, Rebekah decided on white paint throughout. It makes the space feel more open and larger, while also working in harmony with the natural light from the generous windows.
Litter Box Hidden in Staircase

The most expensive add-on in Rebekah’s tiny home build was the storage in the stairs. The early version had two ladders rather than stairs, but Rebekah believes that every inch is crucial for storage and space. The first step hides her cat’s litter box, while the one next to the fridge is where she stores her clothing.
Large Kitchen

The kitchen is akin to those you would find in your average apartment. It’s beautiful, white, and boasts gorgeous natural wood benchtops. It also has a four-burner stove, propane-run oven, and a big kitchen sink. The tap even offers filtered water so that she could avoid purchasing plastic bottles.
The Cat’s Bedroom

Rebekah originally included the loft part of the tiny home so that it could be used as a guest room. However, it’s now her cat’s bedroom and may end up as extra storage.
Bathroom Boasts Conventional Flush Toilet

The bathroom is as comfortable and convenient as you would find in any home. It carries on the same white and natural color scheme and also has a flush toilet, large sink, mirror, vanity, and medicine cabinet.
And a Shower and Tub

Adjacent to the central area of the bathroom is a shower curtain hiding a shower and a four-foot-long mini tub. There is also a stackable washer/dryer.
Convenient Wardrobe

Just when you thought the bathroom couldn’t get any more convenient, you then spot the wardrobe. This is where Rebekah stores her toilet paper, makeup, towels, and clothing. A fan and dehumidifier make sure the temperature and moisture levels are just right.
Multifunctional Coffee Table

Having multi-functional furniture in a tiny home is crucial. Rebekah’s coffee table under the TV features a lift-up top and built-in storage. The lift top proves convenient as a tray table for dinner time, movie watching, and work.
Lounge Area

The lounge area is warm, welcoming, and beautifully contemporary. It features exposed wooden beams and a couch that converts into a bed for two people. The chaise also has built-in storage.
Plenty of Light in the Bedroom

The bedroom is light and bright, courtesy of the white color scheme and windows that allow plenty of natural light. The bedroom is large enough for a king-sized bed at 11 feet long but currently has a queen mattress.
