IKEA’s new summer collection features products that help bring nature indoors and reconnect with the senses. The materials are natural and the colours are warm and earthy; it’s about embracing imperfections and making room for nature and relaxation.
ENEBY SPEAKERS. IKEA has turned their attention to sound and is launching their first speakers. ENEBY speakers are Bluetooth® connected and come in a sleek design making them beautiful accessories. Available in two sizes and colours, they can be mounted on the stands or wall brackets that are sold separately, or placed in KALLAX or EKET storage systems. The small speaker has a handle so it can be hung on a hook or taken along to a party or picnic, as it’s possible to add a battery pack to it.
SANDARED POUFFES. This series of designed knitted pouffes can be used as decorative occasional seats, stylish footstools and comfortable floor cushions. They’re available in three different sizes and coloured covers that can be easily removed and washed.
PEPPARKORN VASE. Developed together with a florist, the blue and grey PEPPARKORN vases have been given the perfect dimensions to hold flowers of different heights. The width of the vase opening has been sized to hold an entire bouquet or just a single decorative branch.
SOLVINDEN. Solar-powered lamps make it easier to live a more sustainable life at home. The sun’s energy is collected by solar cells, stored in rechargeable batteries, and transformed to brighter evenings by LED light.
GRADVIS. The Gradvis vases, which come in pastel shades and organic shapes, can be used with flowers or alone, as beautiful objects in their own right.
JOFRID CUSHION COVER & THROW. The JOFRID throws and cushion covers are made of cotton and linen, both natural materials, that have been dyed in a more natural way. IKEA revived an old tradition of dyeing with the help of nature’s colours in order to reduce the environmental impact.
GULVED BEDSPREAD. The two-sided GULVED bedspread can be used to vary the look of the bed. The dark-blue bedspread is made with linen on the top side and cotton on the other. Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre that uses less energy, less water and less fertilisers when cultivated- The wadding inside the bedspread is made with 95% recycled PET.
