From the outside, this 19-foot 1953 Airstream Flying Cloud looks like any other classic Airstream. It’s sleek, smooth, silver, and doesn’t look unlike many other trailers and caravans making their way across the country. However, all it takes was for Timeless Travel Trailers to get involved in its renovation back in 2017, and it became a masterclass. The outside might look regular, but the inside is now anything but.
There is a significant contrast between the cool exterior and the warm interior of this Airstream. Everything about the inside is high-end. From the alder wood cabinetry and built-in storage to the hickory wood veneer skin and cedar-lined wardrobe – it’s all about comfort and class.
The rear of the Airstream is essentially the heart of the traveling home. It boasts a U-shaped leather dinette, a built-in wine rack for entertaining purposes, and plenty of space for friends and family to gather.
While it only sleeps two permanently, it’s all aboard once dinner time rolls around.
Here, there’s a hammered farmhouse sink, copper-end caps, and a rustic charm not dissimilar to a cute country shack. The only differences are that it’s in a 1953 Airstream – and it’s more elegant than shabby chic.
Once dinner is over and nighttime rolls around, the Airstream’s occupants can then retire to the other end where a comfortable bed with ample storage awaits.
