Jeremy from Belgium and Erie from Norway first met on the other side of the world in Thailand. Chance would see them meet again in Australia four years later, and their future was set. The pair, who both had a love for beautiful landscapes, started on their magical adventure of creating a peaceful paradise in Norway. And now, they welcome others to enjoy it too.
After arriving back in Norway, they found a plot of land that oozed serenity. It was calm, forested, and boasted picture-perfect views. They took the foundation of a rundown cabin and turned it into a beautiful and bold mirrored glass cabin with 180-degree nature views and privacy.
The original cabin
The WonderINN, as it’s aptly known, has become the perfect getaway for peace seekers. The reflective exterior shields guests and the interior from the rest of the world while giving you floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall 180 degrees uninterrupted views of the Nordre Øyeren ecosystem which is Northern Europe’s largest inland delta. The area get frequent visits from small deer, squirrels and more than 270 different bird species.
This cabin features a kitchenette with a mini fridge and espresso machine, as well as heated flooring, air conditioning, and full bathroom with a walk-in rain shower.
Guests can remain warm and comfortable in the cabin while they watch the small animals and birds all around them. They can even while away the hours while watching fishers, hikers, bikers, and canoers.
On the property, visitors can also gain access to the Leffe Cabin, a small and cosy cabin with room for two under an arched roof. Snuggle up in bed with stunning nature views, or relax outside in the hot tub with the fire going.
Visitors can enjoy outdoor seating, lake access, a barbecue grill, and a private hot tub. Both cabins are also within a short drive from the heart of Oslo, and several popular activities like hiking, biking, fishing, and canoeing. Learn more about the cabins here
