Edden Ram and Nicole Sun, founders of the luxury campervan company Ananda Living Experiences, drew inspiration from the awe-inspiring slot canyons and majestic Zion Canyon to craft a truly spectacular campervan.
Celebrated as a “living art piece on wheels,” this campervan mirrors some of Zion Canyon’s most stunning features. From a handcrafted ceiling with curved skylights to terracotta micro-cement walls and intricately designed Moroccan hardware, every detail reflects the natural beauty and charm of its namesake. This stunning campervan is now available for purchase. Find more details here.
Zion Dreams boasts nine windows, three full-length skylights for plenty of natural light in all directions, a Sandy Vans Boosted Box for rooftop storage, and Backwoods bumpers and lights for exceptional visibility everywhere you go. The Pathfinder lights and winch can also see you navigating roads that traditional campervans potentially can’t. This model also comes with a roof-mounted 12-volt converted Starlink system with a built-in router.
For protection, looks, and comfort, the campervan has an APA desert khaki wrap, and smart tint window films for privacy. It also has an agile off-road rip kit suspension for exceptional off-road performance.
The van is equipped with a 1,400-watt walkable solar sail that tilts to maximize exposure to the sun. It also includes a storage area designed to hold large gear and accessories, such as surfboards. The energy generated is stored in an 800 amp-hour lithium battery bank, featuring two batteries with a lifespan of up to 7,000 cycles or approximately 20 years.
The campervan’s charging capacity is further enhanced during travel, thanks to an additional alternator that boosts the power supply. This alternator works seamlessly with the auto-start system to provide continuous power. As long as there’s gas in the tank, the engine uses both alternators to charge the batteries.
Finally, the electrical system is robust and reliable, featuring a full Victron setup with two 400-amp solar lithium batteries, two MPPT controllers, a 3,000-watt inverter, and two DC-DC chargers.
The campervan provides excellent protection from the elements with its comprehensive awning system. It features a motorized Fiamma F45s awning, strategically positioned over the sliding door entrance, offering convenient and reliable shade for outdoor relaxation.
The van is equipped with a Cruise N Comfort DC air conditioning unit capable of delivering 10,000 BTUs, ensuring comfort and consistent temperature regulation year-round.
Cold winters are no issue for Zion Dreams, thanks to the Mi-Heat heated floor system, which provides warmth and comfort even when temperatures drop. Additionally, the van features a Timberline hydronic system, an integrated heating solution that supplies on-demand hot water and cabin heat via a burner and glycol circuit. This system can quickly generate heat using electricity from the batteries or diesel from the van, offering both efficiency and convenience.
The couch includes a built-in pull-out outdoor coffee table, perfect for when you prefer relaxing outside instead of sitting at the dining booth. This coffee table, which features ample internal storage, slides out effortlessly for outdoor use. It’s sturdy enough to support up to 500 pounds, doubles as a sunbed, and even comes with two custom-upholstered bar stools for added convenience and comfort.
Edden and Nicole incorporated an electric drop-down queen bed, mounted on a Happijac platform, positioned above the dining booth. The bed can be partially lowered, allowing the couch beneath to serve as an additional sleeping space. During the day, it can be easily raised to maximize living space.
One of the most standout features of Zion Dreams is the handcrafted ceiling. It’s among the first things you notice when you step inside this campervan. From its natural canyon-like coloring to the curves that mimic a real slot canyon, it’s hard not to be impressed.
The ceiling even boasts curved skylights that let in plenty of natural sunlight. These skylights mimic the view you can see inside a slot canyon and are entirely walkable thanks to their creation with half-inch tempered and laminated glass featuring smart tinting. The beautiful ceiling works harmoniously with the terracotta micro-cement walls.
The kitchen is thoughtfully designed for meal preparation, whether you’re a weekend traveler or living on the road full-time. It includes a stainless-steel Dometic CRX 110-liter fridge-freezer, a Black & Decker 700-watt microwave, and an Empava dual induction stovetop. Ample countertop space and generous cabinetry provide plenty of room for storage and food prep.
The kitchen is a comfortable space to while away the days. With a large window that lets in sunlight and offers beautiful views, it’s also an ideal spot for tending to the built-in herb garden. This garden features its own drainage system and a removable design, allowing you to water it directly from the sink faucet or repot it outside the van. Additionally, the kitchen is equipped with a Waterdrop 3-stage water filter system, mounted under the sink, providing on-demand access to clean drinking water.
The campervan features LED lighting throughout, with dimmable ambient lights to create a cozy and adjustable atmosphere.
For added safety and convenience while driving, it includes electromagnetic drawer locks. These locks automatically engage when the engine is running, preventing drawers and cupboards from opening unexpectedly. If needed, an override switch allows for manual control.
Bathrooms and showers can often be an afterthought in campervans – if they even exist at all. In Zion Dreams, the bathroom is almost the star of the show. It’s a convenient walk-through bathroom shower boasting a full-size luxury shower, a stowable toilet that slides out from the wall, a vanity, and a mirror. The extra space not in use by the toilet means you’ve got a mud room, wet room, or additional storage space.
The Nebia atomizing shower head is certainly a talking point since this shower head uses just a third of the water of a traditional one with a luxurious and silky mist-like pressure. Thanks to this shower head combined with the 24-gallon fresh water tank and 32-gallon grey water tank, you can enjoy around 25 minutes of showers and sink use.
