This tiny house is a custom build by Backcountry Tiny Homes, a tiny house company based in New Hampshire. It measures 28 feet long by 8.5 feet wide and 13.5 feet tall.
The charming tongue and groove exterior cedar siding make this tiny house stand out from the crowd. A calming shade of green works harmoniously with the natural, rich cedar. The natural siding also highlights the home’s main entrance.
Upon entering through the main door, your eyes are immediately drawn to the warmth and coziness of the eastern white pine interior siding. It can’t help but make you want to curl up with a book on a cold winter’s day!
This tiny home is undoubtedly a book lover’s paradise, with piles of books greeting you in the heart of the home as you enter. These books are neatly stored beside the ladder leading to a storage loft.
What would normally be a storage loft in some tiny homes is a book nook in this one. A striking black ladder leads you into the book nook where you can while away the days with your nose in your favorite titles.
Upon entering the storage loft/book nook, you can take a seat on a floor cushion and pull a book off the built-in shelves. This reading nook also offers great views over the main living area but is made safer with balustrades.
The living area in this tiny home enjoys plenty of natural light from the large windows but is further illuminated by in-ceiling lights. A small desk and chair tucked away in the rear provide more places to read, write, and participate in other hobbies.
