Timeless Travel Trailers is known for carrying out some beautiful motorhome transformations, but few are as memorable as Amazing Grace. Amazing Grace is a 2014, 28-foot Airstream Flying Cloud owned by John and Erin Kiltz from Georgetown, Texas.
In October 2018, the Kiltz couple came to Timeless Travel Trailers with a simple request: to customize their Airstream as they transitioned to a new chapter of their life. The couple had just lost their youngest daughter, Gracie, to an aggressive form of leukemia.
Gracie was born with Down Syndrome and had undergone many rounds of chemotherapy. Serious complications caused severe brain damage, and Gracie passed away. The Airstream, aptly named Amazing Grace, would be a way to honour her memory and help them move forward into a new stage of their lives.
Timeless Travel Trailers left no stone unturned in transforming this already beautiful Airstream into a work of art. It was fitted out with reupholstered lounge and dinette seating, luxury vinyl flooring, all new cabinetry, new appliances, and aluminum skin in place of removed cabinetry for a more open feel.
The Airstream also benefited from white shiplap, an updated kitchen and bathroom, custom bunk beds, and a king-size bed. The project was finished in 2019, and the final result is a beautiful, clean-lined Airstream that honors Gracie’s memory in the best possible way.
John and Erin Kiltz worked with Timeless Travel Trailers to turn their 28-foot Airstream Flying Cloud into a beautiful motorhome that would honour their daughter Gracie’s memory.
The Airstream’s main living spaces were fitted out with reupholstered lounge and dinette seating, new luxury vinyl flooring, and a beautiful shiplap dinette tabletop.
Timeless Travel Trailers removed the overhead storage cabinetry and replaced it with aluminum skin to create the illusion of space. They also installed new custom accent lighting sconces and a beautiful Lavy countertop, sink, faucet, and accessories.
The reupholstered lounge seating is fresh, welcoming, and modern.
The lovely green bunk beds are custom-fabricated and can convert to a king bed. All beds have custom memory foam mattresses for comfort.
White shiplap offers a clean, modern, and contemporary feel in the galley area.
Even the toilet underwent a transformation to make sure it would suit every member of the family on their travels.
The custom stainless shower has a teak duckboard and is both spacious and easy to clean.
Inspired by their daughter, the Kiltz family has created two non-profits:
