French tiny house company La Maison qui chemine outdid itself when tasked with creating a home for a Valencia couple. With an emphasis on couple living, La Tiny Flore promotes a sense of “togetherness” while also ensuring each occupant has their own space.
From the outside, this quaint tiny home is the picture of perfection. It has a courtyard entrance, garden exit, and clever use of materials to offer cottage charm.
The unique design of this tiny home called La Tiny Flore captures your attention. You can enter through the courtyard, then exit through the garden.
This kitchen has a beautiful woodwork surface, bottle rack, a drawer for dishes and pots, and a generous Liebherr fridge. The oven, hobs, and water heater all run on gas.
The home’s cook also gets to make use of an easy-access spice rack, ample storage, sink, and all necessary fittings.
The high ceilings add the illusion of space, while also allowing for two mezzanine floors and extra storage.
A storage staircase leads to one mezzanine floor, with a few wooden steps to the opposite one. These areas overlook the living, dining, and kitchen area.
The living area is positioned underneath the mezzanine floor, with an entry point and generous window to allow plenty of natural light.
The smaller of the two mezzanine floors is perfect for a child or visitor. There is a rope to offer stability as you make your way down.
The master bedroom has a 1.15-metre ceiling, double bed, and space for two bedside tables. The striking window opens in two ways and offers a gentle breeze on those warmer evenings.
Both mezzanine floors face each other, with a central opening to see the heart of the home below.
The wooden floors throughout the central living space promote a country feel.
The entire home is powered by solar panels, along with LED lighting, and batteries for the operation of a washing machine. However, heating comes courtesy of a beautiful wood stove. It’s positioned under the stairs that lead to the mezzanine floor. Its chimney is installed on the exterior of the tiny home, which allows for easy removal on travels.
Thanks to a wooden step mounted to the wall you can reach the second mezzanine floor from the same staircase.
Even the bathroom is something special, for it has a generous 31cm basin with a hanging tap, 80 x 80cm shower, dry toilet, and storage.
A glass sliding door then leads to the kitchen and the rest of the home.
