Solar and renewable energy company GoSun has just launched their first tiny house on wheels that incorporates some of their most inventive and eco-friendly products. The best part? Their $69,500 tiny house can last a full month off-the-grid. The solar-powered GoSun Dream is a 195-square-foot home (main floor 165 ft² + bed area 30 ft²) on a trailer. The tiny house weighs 11,500 pounds and measures 22 feet long by 8.5 feet wide and 13 feet tall. It can be towed with the assistance of a three-quarter-ton or one-ton truck wherever you please. When not taking advantage of living spaces off the beaten track, you can hook it up at RV resorts with its included power, cable, water, and waste hook-up points.
The GoSun Dream is 22 feet long, 13 feet tall, and 8.5 feet wide. It features 195 square feet of usable space and is easy to tow with a three-quarter-ton or one-ton pickup truck. It’s available in 2021 with a price tag of $69,500 and comes packed to the rafters with solar energy-friendly products and GoSun appliances.
The tiny home’s interior features a kitchen, bathroom, raised permanent queen bed, and a seating area that can transform into a second bed. In total, it can comfortably house up to four people on a temporary or permanent basis.
The queen bed in the loft area can be electronically raised and lowered with the tiny home’s solar energy. Below it is a banquette-style dining space and work area that converts with ease. There is also an abundance of storage space to the rear of this area.
While GoSun’s tiny home’s dimensions may be conservative, they have made exceptional use of the space. The heart of the home features a comfortable area to relax and watch TV. Electronics like the TV and other appliances are powered by solar, along with lithium-ion storage batteries and an interactive sine-wave inverter. You can also connect a generator to the grid. Sloped ceilings also aid in this tiny home’s energy efficiency, and you can spot the ceiling fan, which acts as an energy-efficient air conditioner.
The lovely wooden bench in the home’s central area proves useful for work or play. It sits below a window that lets in an abundance of natural light.
The kitchen is a crowd favourite as it’s packed full of GoSun appliances and proprietary products. It benefits from low-flow faucets, a full kitchen with a sink, a refrigerator, and cooking appliances. This kitchen is also entirely movable so that you can use it outside.
The two-burner stovetop, range hood, and solar and electric oven will impress any home’s cook. There is also a cooler and solar-paneled table with a power bank to make use of. Propane is also available for heating and cooking. When you’re cooking outside, an electric awning can provide some protection from the sun.
The bathroom is something that proves to be quite an important consideration for those looking to purchase a tiny home. This one will not disappoint. It comes with a 40-gallon freshwater tank, a 25-gallon grey tank, and a 25-gallon black water tank. There is also a composting toilet in the quaint bathroom, along with a shower, sink, and storage space.
The sanitation system of this tiny home far surpasses that of many other tiny homes. It also includes a water purifier. Both the water purifier and sanitation system are GoSun products.
