Luella is a beautiful and minimalist van, ideal for weekend trips, crafted by Marwood Makes Ltd. The company’s founders, the British couple Mollie and Jason, have extensive experience in van renovations, having transformed 13 narrowboats, a widebeam, and five campervans since 2018.
The 2019 Peugeot Boxer, named Luella, stands out from their previous projects. This time, Marwood Makes Ltd. is offering the chance for someone to own Luella through a raffle open to all residents of Great Britain aged 18 and over.
This hand-crafted campervan, valued at £45,000, is a pre-owned 2019 Peugeot Boxer 335 Pro L3H2 LWB model and offers a two-berth accommodation with around 40,000 miles.
Mollie and Jason aimed for simplicity and openness in Luella’s design, creating a space that’s just right for short getaways. They designed Luella with a minimalist aesthetic, incorporating fixed woodwork, seamless cabinetry, and comfortable furnishings while maximizing the available space to accommodate dining for up to six people.
Beyond its minimalist appearance, Luella is equipped for self-sufficient travel. Features include a smart solar system, diesel heater, 12-volt fridge, battery charger, and various sockets. Additionally, it comes with convenient amenities like an external shower outlet, a portable toilet, an LPG tank, a freshwater tank, and a removable waste container, making it well-suited for adventures off the beaten path.
Luella, the 2019 Peugeot Boxer, is a converted weekend campervan designed and renovated by Marwood Makes Ltd. Owners Mollie and Jason are raffling off this £45,000 van, complete with all the essentials, like a 12-volt fridge, solar panels, an LPG tank, portable toilet, and more.
While natural wood is the most prominent material throughout this van, it’s hard to miss the beautiful, light-colored feature wall running along one side. The white, pink, and mauve feature wall softens the ’sameness’ of the wood. Jason and Millie even color-coordinated the throw pillows in the dining space to match.
Given the conservative dimensions of the Peugeot van, seamless cabinetry was crucial. The closed-off, custom-fitted cabinetry allowed for a clutter-free van interior. All this floor and ceiling storage space also ensured that all owner possessions would have their place.
Natural wood was an excellent choice in Luella. The light color maximized all available natural light. It also pairs beautifully with the light-colored accessories like the white kitchen faucet and soft furnishings. Even the bench top is a light color to tie in with the cabinetry rather than contrast against it.
The dining nook in Luella is exceptionally versatile. You can relax in the van’s rear, enjoying the views and sunshine from the large rear window. However, the dining table also transforms it into an intimate dining space.[fluentform id=”3″]
The L-shaped dining nook is well-positioned in the corner of the van. It easily has enough space to seat up to five or six people at a time.
Weekend adventuring is made much easier with Luella’s comfortable layout. You can park up in a serene location and enjoy the scenery, rain or shine.
There’s more to the comfortable dining booth in the rear of the van than meets the eye. Once the evening meal is over, you can convert the dining booth into a comfortable bed for two people.
