French tiny house firm Baluchon left no stone unturned in creating a beautiful 20-foot towable tiny home that is the epitome of functional living.
This tiny home, named Pampille, was created as a primary residence for a French couple. Therefore, it had to be both aesthetically pleasing and entirely functional for everyday living. They more than exceeded expectations.
The rustic appearance of the tiny home is courtesy of a combination of heat-treated poplar and red cedar split shingles. Indoors, though, contemporary elegance and a hint of charm await.
A large living room with whitewash walls and a strong wood theme feature a convertible sofa which can sleep two people. There is also an oak table in the heart of the home, and a kitchen with an abundance of storage including a solid oak bookcase. The kitchen also has everything you need to cook up a storm, such as a fridge, sink, and gas hob.
The adjacent bathroom has a dry toilet, a shower, and storage space. However, there is no sink.
If you think the central area of the home utilised space well, then wait until you see the mezzanine floor. Floating stairs extend over the kitchen area to another level with a large bedroom. At one end is a partition wall that can become a closet or an additional bedroom nook for a child.
The 20-foot tiny home by French firm Baluchon features an RV-style hookup and a deceivingly spacious and functional interior. It’s also heated by electric heaters and features cotton, linen and hemp insulation with wood fibres in the ceiling.
The living room has a strong wood theme complemented by contemporary furniture.
The living room sofa folds out into a double bed for up to two people to sleep for the evening.
A dining table comfortably seats up to three diners adjacent to the solid oak bookcase and fully functional kitchen.
Floating stairs extend over the dining table, taking the homeowners to the mezzanine floor above.
The tiny home may only be 20 feet, but it does not lack functionality, flow, and storage.
Three floating steps provide easy access to the mezzanine floor, without taking up any space in the tiny home.
Stunning feature ceilings add an element of style and space.
The bedroom is surprisingly generous, with two windows offering plenty of light, too.
A partition wall at the rear of the bedroom allows for closet space or a bedroom nook for a child or visitor.
Anyone in the bedroom can enjoy a full view of the living area below.
The bathroom features a dry toilet with chip and a stainless-steel bowl. This room is also not lacking in storage.
The 80 x 80cm shower is easy-care and functions as a standard shower should.
