For many people dreaming of tiny house living, one feature tops the wish list: a downstairs bedroom. Climbing into a loft might feel charming at first, but for full-time living, having a cozy sleeping space on the main floor can make all the difference.
That’s exactly what Kaleigh’s tiny home cottage delivers. Built in 2025 by Haven Design Build in Fremont, Michigan, this thoughtfully designed 193-square-foot home makes small-space living feel effortless. The queen-size bedroom is tucked at the rear of the layout, surrounded by windows that flood the space with natural light and fresh air — a serene retreat that doesn’t require a ladder.
The rest of the layout is equally functional and inviting. The kitchen features modern cabinetry, a stainless-steel sink, and space for dining, while the bathroom includes a full shower and vanity. Above the bedroom, a 35-square-foot loft offers extra room for guests or storage.
Built on a custom trailer and weighing around 8,000 pounds, the home is easy to tow with a heavy-duty pickup. It’s also fully equipped for year-round living with all-season insulation, a mini-split heating and cooling system, and a standing seam metal roof for lasting protection.
Now for sale at $59,000, Kaleigh’s tiny home offers the perfect balance of practicality, comfort, and charm — proof that small-scale living doesn’t have to mean compromise.
This beautiful 22.5-foot by 8.5-foot tiny home with 193 square feet of living space is the proud creation of Haven Design Build in Fremont, Michigan. It weighs 8,000 pounds and is easy to tow with a heavy-duty pickup truck on its custom trailer. It boasts convenient RV hookups, a kitchen, bathroom, queen bed on the ground floor, and a storage loft.
This tiny home also stands out for its attractive exterior featuring white vinyl siding with a burnt wood accent, black metal trim, and six large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Known as Kaleigh’s tiny home, it’s available for pickup from Fremont for $59,000.
The interior of this tiny home is something out of a magazine. Its white and natural pine walls make it charming and contemporary at the same time. It’s also light, bright, and spacious, courtesy of the six large windows, glass door, and in-ceiling lighting.
The queen-sized sleeping area is tucked away at the rear of the tiny home, surrounded by windows for plenty of fresh air and light.
A removable ladder in front of the bed provides access to the 35-square-foot loft.
The downstairs bedroom area is cozy and beautiful, with a TV installed on the wall for easy viewing in bed.
The slender window is also well placed for natural light during the day and ventilation on those warmer days.
The loft above the main sleeping area may be small, but it has enough space for two guests to sleep comfortably. It also makes an ideal storage area.
The kitchen and dining area is a vibrant and contemporary space. However, it still maintains its cottage charm courtesy of the pine walls. The dining area comfortably seats two people adjacent to the bench area. There is also a stainless-steel fridge, which matches the stainless-steel sink and faucet.
The kitchen cabinetry consists of white MDF and a standard Lowe’s stock cabinet paired with a striking black benchtop. Hot water in the kitchen comes courtesy of a tankless on-demand water heater. The tiny home company can add a gas stove and other customizations on request.
The bathroom entrance is adjacent to the kitchen. You’ll spot a mini-split AC/heater positioned above its convenient pocket door.
The bathroom has everything you need for year-round use, including a full shower, a flush toilet, and a vanity. There is also storage space for all your bathroom essentials.
For seamlessness, it boasts the same white pine walls with natural accents and vinyl flooring as the main living space.
