This 2003 Blue Bird has been converted into a charming home on wheels by a French and English couple who has been living in him while they renovate. As a result, everything has been designed with practicality in mind.
Olly is a rust-free 2003 Blue Bird TC2000 with a 5.9L Cummins engine, Allison transmission, and just 34,000 miles on the clock. He fits in two parking spots, and sometimes even one, and comes equipped with everything necessary for your summer and winter travels.
While many house buses are designed with passenger comfort in mind, Olly is also all about driver comfort and convenience. There is a driver seat and passenger jump seat, insulated walls between the cab and living, and insulated curtains throughout with mosquito nets. Drivers can even experience convenience and safety courtesy of the rearview camera with a seven-inch monitor and an electromagnetic door lock with two remote keys
The stunning interior is as homely as they come, with a strong wood theme throughout. The kitchen is undoubtedly the heart of the home, too, with seven feet of space, ample storage space, and a rustic theme. Users can cook up a storm with the propane oven, four hobs, and a fridge/freezer.
Off-the-grid living is made easy with a 12-volt water pump, tankless propane water heater, two 30-gallon freshwater tanks inside, and two 30-gallon greywater tanks outside.
Comfort is almost guaranteed in Olly, with a six-foot-long sofa for relaxing or sleeping. A bit of additional DIY could see you with a foldaway bunk bed. Storage and fresh tanks are stored underneath and in the armrests of the sofa.
There is plenty of space for relaxing after a hard day of work in Olly.
The shower room is surprisingly spacious and also isn’t lacking in storage space. It boasts beautiful wood feature walls in the shower, not to mention lovely patterned flooring.
Olly’s bathroom is fitted with a convenient and comfortable five-gallon Camco Porta Potti.
Who says living in a bus means you can’t have pets? Olly not only has a generous closet for clothing but an in-built litter tray and a cat flap for the four-legged friends in your life.
The bedroom offers plenty of space for any travelling couple. The bus windows let in plenty of light, and there is a generous amount of storage under the bed. The rustic theme of the central area of the bus is continued throughout the bedroom.
