The luxury tiny home company New Frontier Design has recently launched their latest tiny house Luna that is also of the company’s most affordable models. The tiny home has quickly become one of the Tennessee based company’s most popular homes and features a modern design with high-quality materials that are made to last the distance. It’s also positioned on a double-axle trailer which means you can tow it to a temporary or permanent home.
Luna is the latest creation of Tennessee tiny home company New Frontier Design. This tiny home is 25 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 13.5 feet tall. It’s positioned on a 25-foot double-axle trailer and weighs a total of 13,000 pounds. The roof and exterior are clad in matte black 100-year corrugated steel.
The light colours within Luna allow it to seem more spacious. Homeowners benefit from unfinished birch plywood siding, dark grey LVL flooring, and an LED valence lighting package for comfort and ambience once night falls. It’s also hard not to love the striking contrast of the dark wood cabinetry and stair railing against the lighter colour scheme.
The kitchen is undoubtedly the heart of this home, with an abundance of storage, a generous 18-inch drop-in sick, and a 10.7 cubic-foot refrigerator. Custom cabinetry, a two-burner electric cooktop, butcher block countertops, and a convection toaster/microwave combination ensure you have everything you need to cook up a storm.
Storage can sometimes be lacking in tiny home builds, but that’s not the case with Luna. A storage-laden staircase gives all your possessions somewhere to live while also providing access to the king-size loft with cubbies and a full-size closet.
The stark white staircase contrasts beautifully against the dark grain butchers blocks and black cabinetry.
The kitchen also features a small laundry nook adjacent to the fridge/freezer.
The kitchen is light, bright, and spacious, courtesy of the large full-front window within the living space.
The entry door to the tiny home sits in the heart of the home, opening into the open-plan space with plenty of flexibility for work or play. Once again, the light colour scheme adds a sense of space.
The dining nook is well-positioned for all-day sun, making it the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee, work, study, or simply reading a book.
The cubbies in the king-sized loft bedroom give the homeowners plenty of space. The window also ensures the entire space is lit with natural light.
There is enough space for a king-sized bed in the loft, with even more natural lighting coming through a window in the ceiling. You can then drift off to sleep while star-gazing at night.
Adjacent to the kitchen with a barn door is a gorgeous rustic and contemporary bathroom. It features a 30×30-inch free-standing shower, a standard flush toilet, and a wall-mounted vanity with sink.
The shower is of a generous size while still leaving plenty of space in the bathroom for ablutions.
