While plenty of entry-level, budget-friendly tiny homes are on the market, Estonian design-led manufacturer ÖÖD has gone in the opposite direction. This company, known for its luxury tiny homes, saunas, and cabins, launched a limited-edition ultra-luxurious tiny home in October 2024 called Golden House.
And just how luxurious are we talking? Well, ÖÖD will make just 79, and they will all feature custom golden-shimmering glass. Just 79 homes will be produced because it reflects the atomic number for gold. Thirty are expected to sell in the United States and Europe, with the others destined for exclusive destinations like the Middle East.
Golden House is about connecting with nature with, of course, a few upgrades to make it luxurious. Alongside its shimmery-gold exterior that is designed to change its appearance across days and seasons, the interior has also seen a classy upgrade. ÖÖD collaborated with home fashion label Buster + Punch to create a luxurious interior with premium appliances and bespoke materials.
According to ÖÖD co-founder Jaak Tiik, the tiny home was designed to be something special and unique.

If you’d like to get your hands on a limited-edition Golden House, prefabricated units are priced at USD 250,000. The price includes transport and installation within 160-180 days, with the ÖÖD team traveling to your property to install the house.
The Golden House by Estonian company ÖÖD is a luxury tiny home with a golden exterior and a beautiful interior featuring Buster + Punch appliances and bespoke materials. It’s described as being built to last for generations with double or triple-layered insulated golden glass and a reflective coating aluminum façade system.
The Golden House has been well thought out, with quality materials promoting longevity, style, and comfort. It boasts a welded and painted steel frame, with its external parts being galvanized. It also has Thermo-ash hardwood cladding, wooden framework, and Fermacell or marine plywood and OSB boards. Inside, the property’s occupants can remain toasty and warm year-round with Rockwool insulation and floor heating.
Upon entering Golden House, your eyes are immediately drawn to the ceilings and walls. The hand-crafted custom golden-edged walls are unlike anything you’ve likely seen before. The rustic oak parquet panels with LED ceiling and spotlights tie the look together. With subtle hints of gold, these materials work well with the ’Golden’ House theme.
The flooring throughout the Golden House tiny home are easy-care grey ceramic tiles.
It’s hard not to be impressed by the kitchenette. The Bianco Imperiale quartz worktop oozes elegance and glamour, complemented by rich red cabinetry underneath. This gorgeous kitchen also boasts a Buster + Punch wall shelf, golden sockets and switches, a golden sink and mixer, and an integrated fridge.
The living and dining area centered between the kitchen and bedroom makes the best of the natural light and views.
The bedroom closely follows the same theme as the rest of the tiny house. There are two black bedside tables and golden Buster + Punch hanging bedside lamps. The red closet cabinet with a recessed power panel inside the back wall ties in with the red kitchen cabinetry. This bedroom area also has a King-size custom-made bed with LED lighting.
Whether you’re lounging in bed or getting clean in the shower, you can enjoy views of nature.
The bathroom has been beautifully designed to be a peaceful sanctuary with functionality and comfort to the fore. The grey ceramic tiles and rustic oak parquet ceiling panels resemble those in the kitchen.
There is also a wall cabinet for the water heater and a Laufen Kartell black wall-mounted toilet with a golden flush plate. Equally as eye-catching as the toilet is the black steel freestanding bathroom sink with a gorgeous golden faucet.
You can enjoy gorgeous views of your location every time you shower. However, the views aren’t all there is to love about this part of the Golden House. There is a stunning Hansgrohe AXOR golden wall-mounted shower head with a hand shower, as well as golden Buster + Punch handles. For separation, there is tinted shower glass with a golden profile.
