The 2025 Urban Park Studio is the latest creation by Oregan-based tiny home company Truform Tiny. It’s a well-designed 18 x 11-foot tiny home offering 248 square feet of functional space for full-time or occasional living. It consists of a functional living area, a main sleeping loft, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchenette with high-end appliances.
The cedar siding was a thoughtful design decision by Truform Tiny. It was pre-finished before installation and secured in place with stainless-steel fasteners. The wood’s warmth works harmoniously with the stark white paneling – adding an almost metallic appearance.
The tiny home boasts large windows and an inviting front door for enhanced exterior charm and plenty of natural light.
The kitchen is undoubtedly one of the most well-thought-out parts of this tiny home. Truform Tiny has thought of everything, from the placement of the fridge to the installation of the appliances.
The occupants of this tiny home will be able to use a convection microwave, but the options are customizable. The kitchen is also home to a built-in pantry and gorgeous hickory and plywood materials to break up the starkness of the modern materials and colors.
While traditional tiny homes rarely have dedicated dining areas, you’ll have somewhere to sit and enjoy a meal in the Urban Park Studio tiny home. There’s a wood pull-out countertop that locks into place on the wall. You can dine here or use it for extra meal preparation space.
The comfortable living area is adjacent to the kitchen. It begins with an electric firewood set within a limewash facade with a maple mantelpiece above it. While it’s undoubtedly stylish, the fireplace is also this tiny home’s heat source. There is space above the mantelpiece for a mounted TV. Truform Tiny thoughtfully installed electrical and low-voltage connections for this purpose.
Urban Park Studio’s kitchen maximizes every inch of available storage space. Occupants can enjoy four drawers and a two-drawer fridge model for all perishable kitchen essentials. A large pantry to the left and a cabinet can house a washer/dryer.
With limited counter space, Truform Tiny installed a two-burner electric cooktop in the kitchen. However, this is customizable for up to four burners. There is also a smaller-than-traditional sink with a cutting board that seamlessly sits in the top to provide extra bench space when needed.
The fresh white walls, splashback, and benchtop all stand out in the natural light coming through the large windows as well as the under-cabinetry lighting.
Loft access is easy thanks to the clever staircase-ladder hybrid positioned above the couch. It doesn’t obstruct access to the sofa, but occupants can slide it left or right when the extra space is needed.
Finding furniture to fit tiny homes can be challenging, which is why this sofa is custom-built. It also converts into a bed to accommodate guests. White was a great fabric choice because it contrasts beautifully against the black feature wall, natural wood, and white walls.
While bedroom lofts in tiny homes can traditionally feel cave-like and cramped, this loft bedroom is an exception to the rule. The multiple windows and in-built lighting make the space feel airy and open. The white walls and natural wood ceiling certainly add to that.
Besides having enough space for a bed and ample headroom, this loft has a small closet for storing personal items and clothes.
At the end of the hallway in this tiny home is a clever nook with built-in storage. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry houses a roll-out spice cabinet, storage shelves, and a compact freezer. It cleverly blends into the wall to avoid clutter.
The beautiful and functional bathroom is more than suitable for most tiny home dwellers’ needs. It boasts a light-colored tile floor, a generous-sized and easy-care fiberglass shower, and a vanity. The fresh white walls pop against the black fixtures. There is also a window to let in natural light and provide ventilation.
The bathroom features a stylish vanity and a sink with storage underneath. The warm wood materials tie in with the rest of the tiny home and provide a sleek and uncluttered look.
