Even though this tiny house by the Canadian company Nielsen Tiny Holmes has a modest 280 ft2 (26 m2) footprint, this home packs a prolific punch and an enormous amount of storage.
The exterior features a combination of cedar channel siding, Smart trim, Hardie panels, Easy trim and a Prolock metal roofing system and is built on a 24′ Canadian made “Rainbow Trailer.”
The modern kitchen features a 10 cu. ft fridge and a 24″ propane oven/range accompanied with a beautiful stainless steel range hood.
The Pursuit has 12 energy efficient, double glazed windows to maximize natural light and invites the outside inside.
The loft features an intersecting gable roof line, which maximizes headroom while also defining the room with thick fir rafters and a fir tongue and groove ceiling. Lighting controls include 4 way switches for the loft lighting as well as 3 way lighting with a switch location beside the bed, so if you forget to turn off any lights before you crawl into bed you don’t need to get up!
Plenty of storage in the pantry staircase
The bathroom is equipped with residential toilet, sink, and full size bathtub as well as a custom shower curtain rack and beautiful chrome fixtures.
It is also plumbed and wired to incorporate laundry with the purchase of a 24″ RV washer/dryer combo unit
The raised living area consists of a custom couch with storage underneath. There is even a dining table option that fits five people! And a floor hatch and crawl space, for all that stuff you just can’t part with.
The living area also boasts a built-in desk and front hall closet.
“The Pursuit” is listed at 97,000 CAD (about $75,300) + tax. Learn more at Nielsen Tiny Holmes.
