Spend a Night in the World’s First Tree House on a Crane

How does spending a weekend suspended 26ft (8 metres) above the ground in a crane sounds? The offer comes from holiday specialist Canopy & Stars that has created a sensory tree house, suspended high in one of Bristol Harbourside’s iconic cranes.

crane-tree-house-1 The little house boasts a lovely shower with organic soaps, a small kitchen, a hammock and a sumptuous bed will have you sleeping like a hibernating bear. The loo is an adventurous, planet-friendly composting one.

crane-tree-house-10 The tree house accommodates up to two guests and is only available for 100 nights, from 27May-30 September. Bookings are through a ballot which will take place on 3 July.  Price for a week day is £185 and for a weekend £250. All profits go to Friends of the Earth.
