The Danish company Wide Path Camper has just launched a light weight micro camper called Homie. The tiny camper weighs a mere 200 kg and has 300 L of storage space making it possible for any car with a tow bar to take Homie out camping.
The design is similar to the company’s bicycle camper which means it folds down to half its size. The camper also comes with an optional solar cell for charging mobile phones and other small devices.
The back of the camper folds over the front, to get it ready for transport.
Homie has two face-to-face sofas and a pull-down table.
At night the sofas flatten to form a double bed large enough to sleep two people.
A fold-down table can be used for cooking outside.
The Homie is currently available for pre-order, with a number of optional extras also available, including solar panels which will allow campers to charge the likes of mobile devices on the move. Prices start at € 6.500 (that’s about $7.200).
