This Off-Grid Tiny Home Has a Rooftop Deck, a Spa Bathroom, and a Kitchen That Rivals an Apartment

If there’s one tiny home that incorporates tiny home company Tru Form Tiny’s design philosophy of beauty, craftsmanship, and integrity, it’s this 34-foot custom model. It cleverly draws on features from the company’s first gooseneck model, then enhances them to create a functional, fun tiny home tailored for remote work and off-the-grid living.

Tru Form Tiny, based in the Pacific Northwest, built this one-of-a-kind gooseneck tiny house travel trailer for a couple from Louisville, Kentucky. Having previously toured the company’s original model, they knew it had the foundation for what they wanted in their own home. Their goal was to relocate to Tennessee, where they would join another Tru Form Tiny homeowner.

Even from the outside, it’s easy to tell this gooseneck tiny home is a showstopper. It boasts sleek black, tight-knot cedar cladding, a charcoal standing-seam metal roof, and a motorized RV awning. What’s more, it delivers unparalleled eco performance and soundproofing thanks to Rockwool insulation.

Once indoors, the showstopper features continue. From the living room to the kitchen, bedroom, and spa-like luxury bathroom, every space features a striking element that grabs your eye. There’s even a rooftop deck, accessed through an egress skylight.

This custom gooseneck tiny home travel trailer is the crème de la crème of tiny homes. Pacific Northwest tiny home company Tru Form Tiny produced this custom 34-foot home for a couple who had toured their original gooseneck model.

Externally, it features attractive, tight-knot cedar cladding in Tru Form black, with a charcoal standing-seam metal roof. For comfort and entertaining, you’ll also spot a motorized RV awning and a rooftop deck with integrated lighting, accessible via an indoor skylight.

As you enter the tiny home, you’re warmly welcomed by a grizzly wood-fired stove. This then guides your eye to the kitchen on the right, a bathroom tucked away in the rear, and the living space on the left.

The gorgeous kitchen rivals any apartment or home kitchen, featuring slab-style cabinetry in iron ore, paired with Thinscape Solene marble countertops. A stone sink, mother-of-pearl backsplash, and striking black fixtures complete the look. Thanks to a large window, this part of the home is also well-lit during the day, with LED lighting stepping in at night.

Tru Form Tiny didn’t skip on functionality and convenience in the kitchen. A dishwasher, stove, and full-size fridge-freezer fit seamlessly into this space. What’s more, they are solar-ready and paired with a 4-panel 48-volt Victron solar system for off-grid living.

The living space is a relaxing haven for any couple. The wood stove takes the chill out of the air, while the mini-split heating and cooling unit provides convenient heating and cooling. Several windows also drench the area in natural light.

Tru Form Tiny designed this gooseneck tiny home with a remote-working couple’s needs in mind. There are built-in bookcases, including one with a removable desk leaf, which the occupants can use as a flexible workspace.

You can also find thoughtful storage solutions throughout, including drawers beneath the custom maple couch.

This ladder provides access to a loft space and the rooftop deck. You can slide it out of the way when it’s not in use.

A true treasure trove awaits the occupants of this tiny home beyond the kitchen. A luxurious bathroom is to the left, while storage-filled stairs are to the right, leading you to the beautiful bedroom.

The bedroom is a thoughtfully designed haven for rest and relaxation. It boasts a gorgeous storage bed for a Japanese shiki futon and shelves integrated into the headboard. The headboard also functions as a feature wall with eye-catching gold fixtures.

While designed as a relaxing sanctuary, the bedroom is also a quiet work area. There’s a live-edge folding desk under the closet.

Anchoring the bathroom is a custom maple vanity topped with a round vessel sink, paired with limestone-inspired porcelain flooring that gives the space a refined, grounded feel. From there, the room unfolds as more than a purely functional zone—it’s a serene retreat designed for rest and reflection.

In addition to a washer and dryer, the bathroom features a freestanding soaking tub, generous built-in storage, and an incinerating toilet that supports fully self-sufficient living.
