This White and Yellow Hideaway Kitchen Is a Space-Saving Wonder

When Melbourne-based architect Nicholas Agius set out to design a new kitchen for his small 24m2 flat, he wanted to create something that complimented the original design of his art deco home. The result is a seamless, contemporary, and sleek hideaway kitchen that features cabinetry and a bench that unfolds and opens up, so everything has its place. When you fold the kitchen out, it almost seems like a factory machine, with all parts moving into place like a well-oiled machine.

Once you fold the kitchen back into place, it looks like any ordinary cabinetry system – not the heart of the home.

The kitchen is fully functional and full-sized but neatly folds into itself when not in use.
