For many people, owning a home feels increasingly out of reach, but the team at Big Freedom Tiny Homes, Washington, is reimagining what home ownership can look like. Their 30-foot Big Freedom model proves that small-scale living doesn’t have to mean sacrificing comfort or style.
Inside, the space feels open and inviting, with a king-sized loft, a smaller secondary loft, and thoughtful built-in storage that makes everyday life effortless. The kitchen is designed with real cooking in mind, and the bathroom is surprisingly spacious — a reminder that good design can make even the smallest spaces feel generous.
Whether used as a full-time home, a weekend escape, or a creative rental, the Big Freedom is less about downsizing and more about living intentionally — in a home that feels grounded, well-made, and truly your own.
Big Freedom is an expansive 30-foot tiny home that comfortably caters to couples full-time. It’s proudly produced by Big Freedom Tiny Homes in Bellingham, Washington, and is available for $115,900.
Externally, it consists of an Iron Eagle triple axle trailer for effortless towing, a metal roof, and metal and stained cedar siding. It also boasts Rockwool insulation and a 50-amp power supply.
The rich interior is pleasing to the eye as you enter through the full glass entry door. All interior walls and the ceiling consist of tongue-and-groove pine, with the walls being painted white for brightness. The flooring is an easy-care, waterproof vinyl plank, which matches the gorgeous roof.
The living area is positioned at the very end of the tiny home, underneath the smaller second loft, which is accessible via a ladder. A corner couch fits perfectly into the space and receives natural lighting from two large windows.
Dining in Big Freedom is an intimate affair, with a convenient table and stools installed in the centre of the tiny home underneath a window. It acts as a visual divider between the living area and the kitchen.
The team at Big Freedom installed a full staircase against the wall, leading up to the main bedroom loft. It boasts built-in storage cabinets for convenience, including one facing the kitchen area.
The kitchen is easily one of the highlights of the tiny home. It stands out for its quartz countertops, stunning blue cabinetry, soft-close drawers and doors, and a 10-cubic-foot fridge/freezer. The rich wood pairs harmoniously with the deep blue cabinets. This area is also well-lit with LED dimmable lights.
Storage is certainly not lacking in the kitchen, as even the underside of the staircase is put to good use as a space for glasses and mugs.
The fresh white walls, wooden window frames, and quartz countertops all make the kitchen a beautiful space to cook in. What’s more, the 30-inch undermount stainless-steel sink ensures washing dishes is a breeze. Hot water comes courtesy of a 20-gallon 2500-watt hot water tank.
If it’s not the 21-inch drop-in gas range that wins you over, it will surely be the full-height glazed porcelain tile kitchen backsplash that will. The blue color contrasts beautifully against the rich wood.
When the small second loft is not in use, you can store the custom ladder on the wall, adjacent to the main staircase.
Large shelves installed just below the ceiling provide additional storage space, making the most of every inch of the tiny home.
While there isn’t much headroom in the main sleeping loft, there is a generous amount of storage space. The occupants can make good use of the oversized six-drawer dresser, a clothes hanger, and shelving.
The bedroom loft is bright and airy, illuminated by LED lights and refreshed by a cross-breeze from two windows. A large dresser doubles as both storage and a divider, creating a sense of separation from the rest of the home.
A smaller storage or secondary sleeping loft, accessible by a removable ladder, is positioned above the living area.
The well-equipped bathroom is spacious and boasts everything this tiny home’s occupants need for daily living. You can add a Whirlpool stackable washer-dryer in this space, and a mini-spit heat pump in the main living area. The bathroom also has a flush toilet and a 60-inch wide bathtub and shower combination.
Next to the toilet is a 30-inch bath cabinet with an undermount sink and quartz countertop. The quartz matches the countertop in the kitchen.
Compared to most tiny homes, the shower feels surprisingly spacious and serves as a relaxing retreat with built-in shelves for all your essentials.
Big Freedom proves that living small doesn’t mean living less — it’s about creating a space that feels meaningful, comfortable, and entirely your own.
