Summit Tiny Homes, based in Vernon, BC, has recently completed their newest build, The Sequoia—a warm and inviting home that blends comfort, practicality, and style. Thoughtful details stand out, from the custom woodwork and muted color palette to the cedar shake accents paired with board-and-batten siding.
Measuring 8.5 feet wide by 42 feet long, the home offers 375 square feet of well-planned living space on a mobile trailer. Built with cold-climate insulation, it’s designed to feel at home in a variety of settings—whether serving as a cozy cottage, a cabin in the woods, a getaway at an RV resort, or a year-round rural retreat.
It’s hard not to fall in love with this tiny home from the floor up. The kitchen well and truly caters to passionate cooks with custom cabinetry, panel-ready appliances, generous counter space, and an intimate built-in dining nook. While this kitchen is designed to be practical, it’s also stylish with premium finishes and a gorgeous live-edge breakfast bar.
The bathroom beautifully balances functionality and style, as well. It’s spa-inspired with a walk-in glass shower, built-in storage, and a laundry. Accessible from the bathroom is a ground-floor room with integrated shelving and a custom-built desk. This room is suitable as an office, hobby room, or bedroom.
However, the primary bedroom is undoubtedly the star of the show. It’s located upstairs in the gooseneck with a clever split-level design, a skylight for stargazing, and plenty of space for a queen-sized bed. It also boasts clever storage in hidden cabinets, under-seat drawers, and the stair risers.
The base cost for The Sequoia is CAD 195,000 (USD 144,000), while the signature model is priced at CAD 215,000 (USD 159,000). With luxury upgrades, the total comes to CAD 245,000 (USD 181,000).

The gorgeous farm-style kitchen has a calming and modern colour palette to appeal to a variety of preferences and tastes. The warm wood works beautifully with the pale green custom cabinetry. There is also an abundance of storage and plenty of counter space for meal prep.
The kitchen is positioned in the heart of the home, with warm wood flooring guiding you through to the ground-floor room that you can use as a bedroom, office, or hobby room.
The live-edge bench is a standout feature in the kitchen. It adds a rustic element to the space, along with the farmhouse-style sink that contrasts with the sage green cabinetry.
The gas burner is one of the many high-quality appliances in this tiny home.
The live-edge breakfast bar is the perfect place to enjoy a meal with loved ones. There’s even a well-placed window to let in plenty of light.
Wanting to maximise all available space, there’s a cosy two-seater sofa built under the loft bedroom, with drawers underneath. Adjacent are the stairs leading to the bedroom, with each step featuring storage underneath.
There’s an abundance of built-in storage in the bedroom, maximising all available space. There’s also still plenty of space for a full-sized queen bed.
The bedroom’s design has been cleverly tied in with the rest of the home with a gorgeous wood headboard and warm timber window frames. There’s also a wood-framed skylight for nighttime stargazing.
The bathroom with a laundry is connected to the kitchen and also provides access to the ground-floor end room.
The main room on the ground floor can function as a bedroom, but it features a built-in desk and shelving that make it ideal for hobbies and work.
The live-edge desk is a beautiful touch, matching the breakfast bar in the kitchen and offering cabin-in-the-woods vibes. What’s more, it’s a two-in-one desk with a hidden piano. When not in use, it tucks away and leaves space for a computer keyboard on top.
The spa-inspired bathroom is well-equipped to ensure comfort and convenience for everyday living. It has a walk-in glass shower, a laundry, and plenty of storage.
The tiled shower is both stylish and easy-care.
With its thoughtful design, high-quality finishes, and clever use of space, The Sequoia proves that a tiny home can feel every bit as comfortable and functional as a full-sized house—while offering the warmth and charm of a cozy retreat.
