Rather than trying to do everything, Eire focuses on doing a few things well. Designed as a compact, self-contained space for hosting guests or accommodating family, this new tiny house model from Australian builder Häuslein Tiny House Co takes a straightforward approach to short-term living, with an emphasis on comfort, clarity, and ease of use.
Eire has been designed with a functional short-term accommodation layout and is available at an introductory price of AUD $135,080 including GST (approximately USD $90,100). However, a second layout for long-term living may be developed, subject to customer interest.
Eire is a tiny home for short-term living by the Australian tiny house company, Häuslein Tiny House Co. Available at a special price starting from $135,080 (inc GST), it draws inspiration from Ireland, the home country of this tiny home company’s designer, Scott. Subject to customer interest, a second long-term layout may be available in the future.
Eire is 8m x 2.5m x 4.3m, built on a high-tensile galvanized, heavy-duty trailer chassis. It weighs approximately 4 tonnes and provides around 20 square metres of living space, including a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and a ground-floor bedroom.
Häuslein Tiny House Co has thought of everything to make this tiny home stand out from the crowd – from the premium Australian-made steel frame to the Monument matte TrimDek Colorbond cladding back and roof. Completing the look is the Lunawood feature cladding in Surfmist white paint, as well as the aluminium and feature glass windows. There are even flyscreens on all opening windows for added comfort!
There’s more to this tiny home than meets the eye. Häuslein Tiny House Co can supply a trailer so that you can build your own deck, awning, and entrance steps.
The contemporary elegance of this tiny home becomes evident when you walk inside. All internal walls are lined with premium birch plywood with a beautiful light whitewash. There is also a timber-framed single front door to let in plenty of natural light, alongside the large window.
Equally eye-catching is the flooring. Eire has been finished with 4mm engineered black oak timber flooring over a timber substrate.
The living area is spacious and well lit, with room for a corner lounge up to 2.7 metres long. There are options for curtains or blinds on the front feature window, and the generous glazing makes the space feel larger than its footprint suggests. Adding a deck can further extend the sense of space outdoors.
The dining area in Eire is undoubtedly a highlight. Enjoy a meal at the solid oak breakfast bar while looking out through the gas-strut window, which opens for indoor-outdoor flow. All bench tops feature American oak finished with a natural hard-wax oil. Homeowners can also choose from grey or white cabinetry, which boasts soft-close drawers and cupboards.
Despite making up just a small part of the home, the design team at Häuslein Tiny House Co manages to make the single-sided kitchen stand out. The striking black stainless kitchen sink, black tapware, and 10-amp cooktop and built-in oven contrast beautifully against the red bar fridge and splashback.
An optional extra in this space is the Panasonic reverse-cycle air conditioning unit, which can provide exceptional temperature control throughout the year.
There’s no need to worry about scaling ladders to get into cramped loft spaces in this tiny home. A generous bedroom with a queen-size mattress is tucked away in the rear of the tiny home. As the mattress sits flush with the window, it maximises the available floor space.
In this space, there’s a generous wardrobe, a ceiling fan for comfort, and built-in bedside cutouts. These cutouts boast USB charging sockets and light switches.
Designed to feel practical and comfortable for both short and long stays, the bathroom includes a standard flush toilet and custom towel and toilet roll holders crafted in-house, bringing a sense of care to even the smallest details.
Adding convenience and style is the under-sink storage beneath a vanity with an ABI composite stone basin, a generous 900 x 900mm shower, epoxy flooring, and a mirror with touch-sensitive lighting.
If you plan to enjoy off-the-grid living, there are several off-the-grid changes you can make. These include an incinerator or composting toilet, as well as a water tank and pump.
By keeping things simple, Eire creates a space that feels quietly complete.
